New Year's Eve

Okay, so I am two weeks behind in posting these. Life will be back to normal next week, so maybe I can get caught up with everything.

On New Year's Eve day, we decided to cruise around Harvard Square. Emma was thrilled to find a snow polar bear!
Winter provides ample opportunities for me to take photos through tree branches, which you know I love to do. These were all taken on the Harvard campus.
This tree was outside a dorm. Some creative student made a house for Pooh, which Emma thought was adorable!
Hitching a ride with Uncle Brennan.
It took Emma about 4 days to warm up to Great Uncle Dave. He is the nicest guy, but she tends to be shy around people until she gets to know them. Once she decided she liked him, the rest of us were old news! LOL Here they are strolling through the Harvard bookstore.
The gang on New Year's Eve.
Keaton and Tina.
Truth be told, we are not big fans of New Year's Eve. We tend to stay home and watch movies in our jammies. We just haven't any desire to go to parties or be on the roads after midnight with drunk drivers. The older we get, the harder it is to even stay awake until midnight! LOL We made it this year, but barely! It was fun to have everyone here, though. We sat around the TV watching Dick Clark count down to the dropping of the ball. Good old Dick Clark~a sentimental favorite.
On New Year's Day, we went to the North End of Boston so that Dave and his family could enjoy some Italian food before heading home. As you can see, Emma's affection for Great Uncle Dave continues!
We're off to go out to breakfast and then take Keaton to the airport. Then we have to de-Christmas the house. We've been too busy to put anything away, so today's the day!

Wishing you a fabulous weekend!
