Camp Giffy & Papa

A few weeks ago, Rick and I watched Emma for a long weekend while Brittany visited her BFF in Colorado. She donned this gingerbread hat that I simply had to buy for her. I wish they made it in my size!
We hit Build-A-Bear to make a Frosty the Snowman. Needless to say, Frosty was a big hit! First, Emma put Frosty's heart against hers to fill it with love. (No, that tag is not coming out of her head~it's on the bear in line behind her!)
She put the music box~which plays Frosty the Snowman~up to her ear so that the music would always sound sweet.
She helped stuff him.
Then she tucked the music box and heart inside of Frosty.
Frosty's hat flips open, lights up, and makes that magical sound like he does in the movie when he comes to life! Emma was very intent on figuring out the magic behind the hat.
And here is the stylin' Miss Emma on the way home. She wears those daisy sunglasses everywhere!
When we got home, Emma convinced Papa to stamp with her! Being an engineer, he couldn't just randomly stamp. He had to make something. So they made a Frosty game, complete with a spinner and different colored snowballs (cotton balls) as the player pieces!
That night, we watched Frosty the Snowman for Emma's first time. Here she is with Frosty and his friends, Karen (the little girl) and Hocus Pocus (the rabbit). In the movie, Frosty built a fire to keep Karen warm. So Emma wore her fire hat to make sure the fire didn't hurt anyone!
Oh, yeah~being grandparents ROCKS! Especially since you get to buy and play with all of the toys that you really want but feel too old to buy for yourself. LOL Anyone want to come stay at Camp Giffy & Papa?
