Bella's Show & Tell Challenge for December

Welcome to Stamping Bella's Show & Tell Challenge for December!

I grew up watching old musicals. Judy Garland films were, and still are, my favorite. She immortalized this song in Meet Me in St. Louis:

"Have yourself a merry little Christmas,
let your heart be light
From now on,
Our troubles will be out of sight
Have yourself a merry little Christmas,
Make the Yule-tide gay
From now on,
Our troubles will be miles away
Here we are as in olden days,
happy golden days of yore.
Faithful friends who are dear to us
Gather near to us once more.
Through the years we all will be together
If the Fates allow
Hang a shining star upon the highest bough
And have yourself a merry little Christmas now."

Yes, 'tis the season for Christmas music (which I've been listening to since October LOL), Christmas decorations (which are up in all of their glory), and shopping (which is almost done). Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, or any other holidays, you are most likely shopping for and wrapping gifts for family and friends. And what better finishing touch for your perfect package than a card with a stunning bow?

I must admit that bows are not my forte. But after watching this fabulous tutorial on Buttony Bows, I think I have the hang of it! So this month's challenge is three-fold: 1) Watch the Buttony Bow tutorial here. 2) Make a holiday card using the Buttony Bow technique. 3) Go back to the challenge thread on SCS and tell me for whom you made the card, as well as what gift will accompany it. Thus you will show and tell! (BTW, thank you, Joanne, for the fabulous tutorial!)
I used Polly Packages by Chichiboulie for Stamping Bella. She is so darling and festive! The paper is CTMH's Jingle. And isn't the bow pretty? You'll be surprised at how easy these bows are to make!

You can participate in this challenge here. A winner will be randomly drawn from among the participants and will win a $15 gift voucher to Stamping Bella! The winner will be announced in the challenge thread on December 10th. So come join the fun!

And remember,
"Through the years we all will be together
If the Fates allow
Hang a shining star upon the highest bough
And have yourself a merry little Christmas now."

Happy Holidays!

Your card is terrific & your bow is perfect. This is definitely one area I too need major work.

Off to practice the tutorial.
