Robyn Fest, Day 2

On Sunday, Robyn and I drove to Newport, Rhode Island . It is a postcard-place: a quaint, New England, seaside town, full of charm and brimming with activity. First, we stopped for lunch at The Barking Crab.
Then we toured the Vanderbilt mansion, which they referred to as their "summer cottage." The history was fascinating and the view was breathtaking!
The flower beds were shaped like pianos!
We came home to a delicious filet mignon dinner. Thanks, Rick and Brittany!

Dude, I need a "summer cottage" like that. Then again, William Randolph Hearst called Hearst Castle "the little ranch in California", and that place is amazing. Looks like you guys had a great time!!

Looks like you are enjoying your time together. Isn't Newport wonderful and those mansions to die for! I have a couple of friends who went to Salve and loved visiting them.
